This little sewing machine is amazing. It is very sturdy yet light in weight. No problem taking up a hem in a pair of jeans. It will go through the fabric like butter. It is an all around functional machine for just about any project you want to take on. Great for mending, quilting or dress making

I consider myself a professional seamstress but the only machines I regularly used were Singers. I chose this machine because of the variety of stretch stitches. I have already used the Stretch Blind Hem stitch to shorten some of my stretchy slacks, and it sews perfectly. I didn’t have to adjust the tension or anything else; i just followed the threading instructions (making SURE to thread in the right direction) and it was a breeze right out of the box.
